Opening on May 25th, the interactive exhibition, draw: the art of curiosity and innovation celebrates a wide variety of creative media, styles and techniques that incorporate drawing. Along with other artists, his exhibit will feature a variety of my graphite, marker, and gouache works. The exhibit will be open through September 1st at the Tempe Center for the Arts Gallery.
During the exhibit, I will be hosing two workshops.
June 30th (noon until 2pm): Word Art with Christopher Jagmin (free)
If you enjoy art and poetry this workshop is perfect for you. Exhibiting artist Christopher Jagmin recently started expanding his art and design practices to include word art. This workshop will explore how to take your thoughts and feelings and turn them into colorful word art drawings. All ages and abilities welcome.
And on June 23rd, there will be a one-day celebration of all things drawing from 10am -10pm (free-all ages). From 6pm-10pm there will be a “happy hour” workshop that I am offering.
