To get through the devastating sadness and loss of the past year I have found comfort in mail correspondence. I would be happy to include you on my letter writing list if you would like. If you send your address, I will happily send you a letter to you. If you’d rather write first, I will send you my address. This project has been rewarding, and my hope is that it might be for you also.

First initiated at the 4-day event, Canal Convergence in Scottsdale, AZ (2016), this project explores the secrets that consume us. Participants were asked to anonymously write a secret on a card that was sealed in an envelope. Their secret would be exchanged for a stranger’s secret, with the promise to keep it confidential. My hope is that this exchange might just release a long-held burden.
